Privacy Policy

At Pediamom, we are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your children. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, add your child's information, or contact us for support. This may include names, email addresses, health information, and other data necessary to provide our services.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, communicate with you, and ensure the security of your data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Protection

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our systems are HIPAA-compliant and follow industry best practices.

Children's Privacy

We take special care to protect children's privacy. We only collect information about children with parental consent and use it solely to provide our health management services.

Device Permissions

To provide our services, we may request access to certain device features and permissions. We request camera access to allow you to take photos for your profile picture and your child's profile photos. We request access to your photo library to enable you to select existing photos for profiles. We request biometric authentication permissions (Face ID, fingerprint) to provide secure login functionality. All permissions are requested only when needed for specific features, and you can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings. We do not access your camera, photos, or biometric data without your explicit permission, and we only use these permissions for the stated purposes.

Subscriptions & payments

If you purchase a paid subscription (for example, Pediamom Pro), payment is processed by the app store or platform provider (such as Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive limited information such as subscription status, transaction identifiers, and renewal dates from the store or from our subscription management partners so we can provide and verify access to paid features. Those partners process personal data under their own privacy policies and terms.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (which also function as an End User License Agreement for our mobile applications) govern your access to and use of Pediamom's Services. By creating an account, downloading or using our apps, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pediamom, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

Use License

Subject to these Terms, Pediamom grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use our mobile applications and web properties for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the Services except as allowed by applicable law. This is a license, not a sale of software.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Services for any unlawful purpose, to harm minors, to harass or impersonate others, to scrape or overload our systems without permission, to attempt unauthorized access to accounts or data, or to violate any applicable law or regulation.

Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

Some features require a paid auto-renewing subscription. The subscription name, length, and price are shown in the app and in the storefront before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device settings: on iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; on Android, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. If offered, any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends, as described at purchase. We may change subscription prices or terms where permitted by the store; material changes will be communicated as required by the platform or applicable law.

Third-party services

The Services rely on infrastructure and tools operated by third parties (for example, cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and subscription management). Those providers may process limited data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. Your use may also be subject to additional terms from Apple, Google, or other platforms.

Not medical advice

Pediamom is a health information organization tool for families. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or store in the app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pediamom and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law or by the app stores (for example, in-app notice or email). Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

Security & Privacy Standards

Pediamom is committed to maintaining the highest standards of security and privacy for all health information stored on our platform.

Security Measures

We implement comprehensive security measures including data encryption, secure servers, access controls, and regular security updates to protect your information.

Trusted Partners

We work only with trusted third-party partners who meet our strict security and privacy standards to ensure your data remains safe.
